IBPS SO Prelims Result 2026 official website and last date
The official website for the result is www.ibps.in, under the CRP Specialist Officers section. The result opened on 15 October 2026 and can be checked until 22 October 2026. IBPS releases it online only, so nothing is posted or emailed to you.
One published report gives 21 October as the closing day, so do not leave it for the last evening. Save a copy of the page as soon as you log in.
How to check the IBPS SO result
- Open www.ibps.in in your browser.
- Go to the CRP Specialist Officers section and open the CRP SPL-XVI page.
- Click the link for the Prelims result.
- Enter your registration or roll number, and your password or date of birth.
- Type the captcha code and click Login.
- Read your qualifying status, then download and print the page.
Enter your login details only on the IBPS website, never on a link forwarded on social media. If the page loads slowly, try again later, because result-day traffic causes delays.
The page shows your name, post, exam name, registration number, roll number, category and qualifying status. Compare each entry with your application. If a detail is wrong, report it to IBPS through its official helpdesk with proof.
How to check IBPS SO score card?
The IBPS SO score card is released separately from the result, and it had not appeared by 19 October 2026. Reports expect it around the third week of October, together with the cut-off marks. It is said to carry total and section-wise marks for every candidate who appeared, qualified or not. Watch the CRP Specialist Officers section on www.ibps.in for the link.
IBPS SO Prelims Cut Off 2026: what has been released
IBPS has not released the IBPS SO Prelims Cut Off 2026 as on 19 October 2026. The cut-off marks are published category-wise, and you need to clear both the sectional and the overall cut-off to reach the Mains. Any number you see before the official release is an estimate.
The result already applies the cut-off, which is why it shows a qualifying status. The cut-off marks only tell you how far above or below the line you were.
What is the expected IBPS SO cut off for 2026?
There is no official figure, so this page does not print a predicted score. Several coaching websites have published their own expected cut off ranges, and those differ by a few marks for the same post and category.
The vacancy count rose from 745 at notification to 1,043 after the revised lists of 20 July and 27 August 2026. IBPS sets the cut-off after the exam, separately for each category. We will add the official figures here once they are published. We could not find a published count of shortlisted candidates either, so this page does not quote one.
What happens after the IBPS SO Prelims Result 2026?
The Mains is on 1 November 2026, 17 days after the result. It carries 225 marks in 155 minutes and includes a descriptive paper. Prelims marks are not added to your final merit, which is built from the Mains and the Interview. The Mains call letter will appear on www.ibps.in. The full pattern is under Exam Pattern further down this page.
